In my experience, divorce changes you, and not for the better. It changes you for life. I don't believe there is such thing as a good divorce. I'm all for staying together for the kids. Studies are showing that kids that come from broken homes carry a lot more baggage than originally thought. In fact, kids whose parents are not happy but stay married grow up to be much more well adjusted, emotionally mature adults than kids whose parents separated.
