Hey guys! Long time lurker of the board here and finally got around to registering so i can put in my 2 cents were needed..hehe
Been a long time Anthrax fan. In fact, they are the reason I got into metal at an early age. I was a big horror movie fan as was my best friend, and he had gotten a copy of Return of the Living Dead soundtrack that had Anthrax's A.D.I. Horror of it All. That instrumental opening and then thrash break in totally blew my mind. I was hooked instantly.
Anyhow, Anthrax are by far the best pure metal band and have stayed true to themselves and the fans for the longest time and that says alot about the band. I'm sure I don't have to tell you guys all this
I'm really lookin forward to the new album soon. Volume 8 was probably my favorite "Bush years" album by far. So many tunes i would crank up and drive too fast to. hehe
I've written too much already. Glad to be aboard and long live the 'thrax!
