i was under the impression that even if TOC wasnt the best, it was still better than alot of shit nowadays. Jeff is a brilliant guitarist. Settled. lets all hold hands and weep now.

Well, even on that route. What was so bad about his ability to compose good music? Did no one enjoy TGE, TOC or ZOP at all? I recall quite a few people enjoying those albums. It's as if everyone expects the band to keep churning out stuff that sounds exactly the same in all albums. That's the beauty of Nevermore, is that each album is different and distinguishable from one another.

I'm not a betting man, but I'm willing to wager that Jeff will join some sort of djent band that guitar dudes jack off too with half scream/half singing generic vocals.
the kids who care only about Jeff's shredding and bringing the br00tz and hate WD's voice will be satisfied, and most of us won't really care.
the 7 string/guitar shred fanbase is his fan base, not nevermore's, so that's probably what will happen.
Also, he's become good friends with Keith Merrow from what I understand, who is some new age guitar shred, 7/8 string guy, maybe with him.

I don't hate him as person, just his playing. None of this is personal against Jeff ...just my opinion as why the last few Nevermore albums have gone down hill. The answer is JEFF CATERING TO THE WANKERY LOVING CUNTS.
The last 3 albums have been more about weely weely weedly weedly then writing solid songs. Jeff claimed when the writing started for TOC that he was going to leave more space for the "vocals"... while this may have been the case, I think it was more ... FUCK THIS BAND IM DONE SOME IM JUST GONNA NOT PUT ANY EFFORT INTO THIS.

I did not enjoy TOC or ZOP at all. I liked TGE, mostly due to Warrel's performance.
We don't expect them to turn out the same albums, but we hope for albums that, though different, won't suck. POE and DNB were fairly different, yet they both are still amazing.
