I'm going to start tracking for a pretty well known death metal band in my area and would looove the business they could bring me. The guitarist and I got together the other day and did a few scratch tracks just for me to dial in the guitar/player combo. Right now I'm only working on guitar, so please ignore the drums.

Guitar: solo c > 8505 > s-preshigh > eq > reaXcomp
Drums: Addictive toms and overheads, Slate 11a snare, and a kick sample from Lasse.

will this song have vocals? If it will, I propably wouldn't mix this any further because you might have to meddle with the mix a lot after they come in. what about the bassguitar?

I tried to post the other day but NTL fucked me over, I think there was a 8505/soloc version + two X30's (maybe two 8505/soloc with different EQ) anyway, I thought the original sounded best.
