The silverburst you linked to is gross, that's just like an antiqua gone chrome.

Silverburst has always been like a 2-tone burst but with a silver center, so yeah it's going to look silver + sprayed black edges... because that's what it is.

I love it, but people might dislike the look of the explorer because of the black pickguard... maybe? I don't know what else you do though. Maybe a mirrored pickguard?

Not a huge fan of back routing an explorer, but it would've let the silverburst breathe a bit more.
