Gig thread

where the hell did that come from?

Unfortunately for you my friend, Metal Dave has succumbed to the gloom of doom. no more dragon riding or sword fighting for him! :Smug:

Until he goes through his closet to the magical realm of Narnia. :Smug:

But that's power metal, prog is more wanking on for 15 minutes and then the dragon gets bored and fucks off. :)

Let me give you just a few reasons off the top of my head...

1) Transcending Mortality
2) Friar Rush
3) Voyager
4) Eyefear
5) Vanishing Point

How many more reasons do you need? :p
Even better if a couple bands like SyX and Sun Caged can be baited over here to headline :D

In all seriousness i think an Oz ProgPower would be awesome and a project i have thought about often. I think it could work too considering the amount of quality acts here plus if a band like EVERGREY/NEVERMORE could be added instead of doing smaller shows as a tour i think it would do very well.Never say never people.:)

EXCUSE ME?? seriously???
...
UP THE IRONS!

Although Dream Theater remains the highlight of my gig attendance to date in terms of the actual show itself, I have to admit the Iron Maiden gig is easily my favourite gig overall. The pre-gig atmosphere was like Gamma Ray x infinity, the performance itself was killer (so much better than seeing Gunners there) and the post-gig adventures were suitably epic. I only just got home about 15 minutes ago and still don't want to sleep. Since I don't have work tomorrow I'm going to hunt for cheap tickets to today's concert and see how long this train can run.
