I was kinda surprised at that, as well. I figuered they'd come here, to Tampa, being that we have the amphitheater here...which is perfect for this kind of event. Not to overstep my boundries, but ever since SX took on professional management (it was long overdue), things are confirmed without their knowledge to a certain extent. I would assume they discussed options and then left it to their management (as every band should do). In this case, I would assume that Mustaine got the word from the booking agent on the confirmation immediately when it happened with a good chance that Romeo had no clue at the time of the announcement.
The reason I believe all this? The exact same thing happened when I booked them a few years ago for ProgPower. They were confirmed and didn't even know it until an interviewer told them.
