In regards to the group-shot of King Glenn and the Corsettes:

Okay... so, next year, on Friday night, Glenn needs to wear a Pimp outfit with platform shoes and a 3-foot wide hat and bling bling everywhere, and on Saturday night he wears his Kingly wardrobe!

Seeing Glenn in a purple pimp outfit, with a white tophat, and some gold fittings would be worth 2x hte price of admission in itself.

even thought ladylovelylocks accidently used my user name by accident i totally agree with everything she said hers was more elegant and hand made i watched her make it myself and she did wear it right and not like some lady of the evening like others that were there and my lady was totally hot hands down! ;)

Actually, mine was handmade (by me) as well as my cape. :)

Darg- Yeah, I had to look again, that is indeed my arm LOL. Looks really funny.

I was getting it organized when everyone started shooting, I kept saying "WAIT! Were missing two!" By the time they got there, everyone had left.

It was fun, I felt like a freaking celeb. Now I know how these bands feel.. "Click click click..."

So, not only do all the rest of us look like "Ladies of the Evening", but we also all wore our corsets "wrong"? Were we supposed to be wearing them over our asses of something?
Sorry, but I think all the ladies looked really nice. I think it was a fun way to bring a lot of girls together. Girls can be so caddy and mean
If I had known there was a corsette night, I would not have worn mine! Althouth mine was the best (homemade and embroidered)! At least I wore mine the way they were meant to be worn. lol
that it was great to have a whole bunch of them supporting each other and appreciating each other.
Great Idea Metal !! Let's do it again next year.

I think you just said my wife (and a lot of the really nice ladies I met this weekend) looked like sluts.

FUCK YOU!

Maybe your wife's corset was nicer than everybody elses. Maybe people other than your wife were wearing theirs *wrong*. So what? Why rip on other people? That was uncalled for, and uncool. Did you join the forum just to rip on the women who were at PPVI?

Welcome to the forum BTW.

Actually, having checked laces, almost everyone was wearing theirs properly, though I'd question some of the satin laces vs the stronger laces that could have been used. Yeah, most of them were VS style corsets which are fine and dandy, and when laced properly are no more easier to get out of than your usual victorian or edwardian corset. Me, personally, opted for my latex bodice (for a cheap woman of the evening, that would have been out of my price range at about $200) because I didn't have time to lace myself up in my victorian corset (that whole, working crew thing).

I started corset night as a means to have fun and get the women together (as there are oh so many of us). We were having fun and enjoying ourselves. As for you, well, I tend to laugh at pretentious high and mighties. Though, so far, you are revealing yourself to be at least of mild entertainment value.

I did only saw one corset that was laced wrong - top to the middle, and middle to the bottom. The two big problem with satin laces is that they fray under pressure, and because they're so slick, they slip, so the fit won't be as snug as the hours pass, especially if you're cinched real tight.

And as for looking like a slut... worn right, corsets are far classier than some of the tops I've seen over the years. And there's much to be said for the attention it gets; I wore one out in public for the first time at BWBK in 2003, and it gets a LOT more appreciative looks than the nicest top.

Melithor, you go ahead and use your freedom of speech to insult every girl who was wearing a corset that night, and we'll use our freedom of speech to tell you that you're a complete ass. Good? Good.

Once I got there I realized I had mine laced up incorrectly. I had never worn a corset before so I didn't know there was a right and wrong way to lace it up. Plus it came with a satin tie that was too short for my taste so I replaced it with a bright pink ribbon. I didn't have time to look for stronger lacing and I assumed that the satin ribbon it came with would have been enough. Once I saw how the rest of the girls laced their's I knew I had done mine wrong. Oh well, it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed wearing something different than I normally do. Turned out to be more comfartable than I thought it would be! I think all the girls looked great and I can't wait for next year's theme!
