hey dudes,

I kind of just bumped an old thread started by NSGuitar, but just realized that after I read the whole convo, that was a terrible idea, since there was a whole controversy going on there. Oh and someone asked if I was retarded, so that was a hint that it was a bad idea also. =P god I love this forum.

I was just searching some Glue tricks and etc...and I have been wondering if there is enough glue on my mix's.
So please give this a listen to tell me if I do good job wid da glue!

I used PSP Vintage Warmer 2 on the master bus which just cost me $150, but well worth it. It kind of made everything more coherent! I love it, just want to know if you guys agree with me.

thanks

I shall check in to that, I can hear a little now too. I only recorded two tracks of guitar, one right one left. I think the cymbals are kind of taking away from the guitar a little too. I will update mix in a second.

son of a bitch, someone was fucking with it before and I never fully changed it back....thanks for the heads up lol

Haha. Better now! To your mix :
-I think the cymbals are making your guitars a bit thin (if this makes any sense :D) I would turn them down a bit
-Turn up the snare and the kick a little
-It's clipping very bad. Maybe that's caused by the vintage warmer?!

dual tracked, and I can try turning the OH's down, I think I may have to carve out more mids on them. It seems to compete with everything. The Vintage Warmer is hiding the kick a bit, I will decrease the gain on it and maybe that will help, I will definitely give an update soon. Thanks for the advice bros
