I'm not even that into black metal and I think it's a fantastic year. Sacramentum, Scald, Summoning, The Chasm, Katatonia, Adramelech, Crimson Relic, Burzum, Oxiplegatz, Gorgoroth...

Disciples of Power will probably be my number 1, beyond that it's going to be a bunch of C rate stuff, B/B- at best. It's not even their best album

It's not a great year for death, prog, traditional or stoner either. Shitty year for metal in general. In Flames is like one of the best death metal albums that year it goes to show
