And i wouldn't really say Isis aren't really post rock.. In The Absence Of Truth and the aerogramme split were definitely more mellow, but i'd still consider them as post metal..

I have just checked out just about all of the recommendations here, some really awesome shit! From what I've heard so far, Red Sparowes and Magyar Posse stand out for me but all of it is really good. Gotta save up some flow and buy a bunch of cds now.

Godspeed; some of the artsy/spoken word stuff just rubs me the wrong way. I actually prefer Yndi Halda to Godspeed, though I enjoy both bands.

Sigur Ros are great too, though my favorite post rock bands have consistently proven to be Caspian and Explosions In The Sky.
