I'm on my way out the door to the airport, getting on a plane to Tokyo in 4 hours and tomorrow I'll be further from home than ever before. What awaits me, you ask? Two weeks of backpacking, eating, drinking, seeing the sights, socializing, and all that in one of the most alien places (to me) on this earth.
