Well I heard Nyphetamine "by accident" when CoF played in a combined gig with Dark Tranquillity and Kreator (in Helsinki)... I hate CoF. :(

Due to my very changing mood lately, I listen to some bands I'd never really listen otherwise. Take EVERGREY for example, not my cup of tea really, but man, do they have some awesome ballads or what?! Those ballads go so perfectly along with my mood.. The song I've been listening to for the past 2 - 3 days is Faith restored and I felt like sharing a part of its lyrics with you... it's an amazing song, so emotional and just beautiful.

Same as the Bash-Dimmu or Bash-CoB...band reaches a certain degree of popularity. Gets more exposure to different kind of people.... old tr00 kvlt fans get upset cause they aren't so special anymore and then bitch, whine, cry at night.

If people would concentrate a little more on the music itslef, than the image the band creates....I guess it would all be good. :err:
 
You are wrong with CoF and CoB imo. Its not about the image I whine, but about the fact that they crib their own stuff, especially CoF. When I was listening to Nymphetamine I could identify dozens of places which were used and re-used on previous records, its not interesting anymore, it sucks. CoB is almost the same, first two albums sheer bliss, then the same old song. Dimmu is ok imo, they sell a lot of records, but are still fresh and pretty listenable.
 
I was listening to Midian yesterday and I really enjoyed it! Its the last really great album CoF made. The song Deathmagick for Adepts is a masterpiece! The change of the drummer and the keyboard player had had a tremendous effect on the final outcome. The drums sound perfect and Adrians style suits CoF very well, and Martins contribution is also great. Paul returned to the band, Gian and Robin were still members of the band then and the result is simply fantastic. After that it all went to sewers - Damnation was too fucking long and boring and Nymphetamine is a joke with Liv Kristine as a cherry on top (I first thought it was Kylie Minogue!! :D ). There.
