Good visualizers to get absorbed in

Yes, this is 100% a thread about me asking for suggestions for visualizers (either downloadable, or embedded in media players) to zone out to while stoned (the WMP might have been interesting in 1996 :Smug: ) Have at it!

something about watching the scope while stoned really gets me, seems like you can see the music. Almost like a very small LSD trip in a way, if you haven't tried it yet.

In WMP, there is a category called "Bars and Waves" its the one called scope, its basically an oscilloscope view of the sound in the left channel of audio, its definately fun to watch the sound move up and down in perfect frequency, turns the sound so visual.

That actually reminds me I have a real oscilloscope and i connected it up to my guitar (instead of into an amp), its pretty cool thing to see the on a graph exactly how the strings are vibrating. Definitely a psychedelic experience when stoned!

I bought a real oscilloscope a few weeks ago for my amp building.

That thing is fun as hell to look at. I hook it up to random things just to see what happens.

I won mine at a school raffle about 6 months back, I have too much fun with it, can't wait to start using it for amp building. Have you tried probing your hand? Its pretty amazing to see all the noise and interference that your body absorbs, even weirder to physically see it.

I can't get to YouTube at work though - if I remember correctly it's very, very, very tripped out. See if you can see a clip on YT first. If it's what I think it is, you will be lost in that shit for hours.
