Got me a new amp today!

It´s tiny, but yet mighty! yeah, it´s the new Mini Rectifier 25w. I really like the tones coming out of this amp. The power section is driven by two EL84 powertubes, and the preamp section has five 12AX7. The preamp is taken directly from the big Dual and Triple reborn rectos. When switching from 25 to 10 watts it changes from Pentod to Triod. 10w is great when using the vintage mode and pushed on the clean channel. Modern sounds best when using 25w.

Here are a few pictures and a song i made today using the Mini Rectifier. All rythm tracks are recorded with the modern mode, lead is with vintage and 10w.

Pultec-pro UAD plugin, cutting a bit around 500, lo-pass at 75hz. Boosted at 10khz on the pultec as well. that´s it The compression is from cranking the amps power section.

I have the Thomann version of that ribbon mic but find it way too boomy on a cab. What mic position did you use and how far away?

Straight into the dustcap. You can pull back the mic a few inches as well to get less bass.

The best clip I've heard from this amp! They have always sounded thin to me. Is this dual or quad tracked? And how loud was this in the room?

You can kind of barely tell it's a low wattage amp but damn it sounds juicy! Would buy if I wasn't broke!
