Great bands that get no attention.

Aussie beers rock. Better than American beers, and most European beers (noting that no one here drinks Fosters as it tastes like rats piss - which is why we only export it). There are a select few boutique beers from Europe that are good, but other than maybe Peroni or Heineken, our best beers kick the arses out of shit like Becks, Stella etc.

Redback = Greatest beer in the world. No questions asked.

I'll agree with Arcane Sun being underrated as well.

Anyone here ever heard Cirith Gorgor? Their song, Winter Embraces Lands Beyond, is one of my favorite BM songs EVER. GET IT (and the whole album which isn't as good comparatively, but still...it's called Onwards To The Spectral Defile).

I listened to them on myspace and they were pretty cool. I may look into them now.

Come on, European beer is easily best. Screw Becks and Heineken -they are like the Fosters of Europe. Problem is no-one in Australia knows any good European beer because it doesn't import them. The only good beer I found was Chimay (Belgium) and that was $AU7.50 a bottle!

The whole band is so talented, and they are the "only" band to use a style like the do. Amazing band, but no one really knows who they are. (JAPAN FTW)
