One of my all-time favorite covers:

I actually thought, and still think (believe it or not) that this was a good record. Also, she fueled a few of my young fantasies, rough looking as she might be. The Plasmatics had some good albums too....Just saying, she's never come up here before.

Jean Beauvior was in the Plasmatics and he rules :headbang: He co-wrote 3 of my all time favourite KISS songs, and if you haven't checked out his band Crown of Thorns where he also does lead vocals (and sounds very '80s Paul Stanley) their first album is WELL worth checking out!

Wendy O. Williams played the hard bitch in Reform School Girls!!! Rockin movie haha. And the end credits featuring her doing a cover of the unreleased KISS track "It's My Life" (whcih King Kobra also covered at one stage).

I had forgotten about Beauvoir. I'll keep an eye out for Crown of Thorns. Sounds interesting.

:tickled: Yeah that was a cool movie. It hedged on soft porn as I remember. "It's My Life" is on the album I pictured.

Wendy O was a pig...

Oh how deep you wound my post-pubescent / pre-adult fantasies. :p Who else was there? Pat Benetar? She rocked but just didn't quite do it for me. Olivia Newton John? Hot but she didn't rock. Juice Newton? I won't even start... Who am I missing?

Some of her stuff was okay, but
not my cup of tea. This is the record that
Simmons produced if I recall correctly & feature a solo
by Ace Frehley in there somewhere...

I liked that album. It had some pretty decent tracks on it. Gene produced it and played bass on some tracks. Ace did the guitars, solo and otherwise, on "Bump and Grind". That song just drips sex.

And I forgot to add -- she did a 7" single. It was a duet with Lemmy and the song was Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your Man". I'd like to get ahold of a copy of that.

I fucking Love that album!!!! IMO its the most underrated MC album! followed by Masterpeace and Weight of the World

I agree on HOTB, but disagree highly about the other two. "Masterpeace" even if has Wayne singing better than the first two albums can't live to the legacy of the Howe era, and WOTW is just not Metal Church (Vandehoof maybe).

Reverse example, great cover (painting by Brom!) for a bad album
