I was listening to the 24/96 version of Theo "The Game Of Ouroboros". Superb recording. This got me thinking...

Over the past year what are the great sounding recordings you've picked up? Content doesn't count - music can be pure drivel. Any genre. I'm asking about incredible, show stopping sound. Not good - GREAT! Just don't list your entire collection.

It can be digital or analogue. It can be an old album you stumbled across. Doesn't matter. To keep things easy just go back a year.

There are no wrong answers and no judgement...unless you mention some death metal or grindcore album. Then you will be publicly humiliated. Otherwise anything goes.

GO!

Supertramp - "Breakfast in America". This was THE record to test stereo systems back in the day.

Al Stewart - "Year of the Cat".
