As far as the Vanden Plas... I am so proud of those guys. Being a looong-time fan and hearing them release something that mind-blowing in my ears is great. Unfortunately, it ruins everything else I hear until I finally burn the damned thing out.

FINALLY GOT IT!! After waiting for how long now? It does not dissapoint one bit. Even blew extra coin for next day air to get it. Money well spent I must say. Cranking it right now for the second time and it just keeps getting better. They have really out did themselves. 
I just wished they were playing Progpower this year. Hopefully they will tour the States because this would be the album to do it for them.

Well in the US touring scene, the only real "big boy" in prog metal is Dream Theater. Of course Rush or Queensryche would do wonders for them, but that's a dream and those two really aren't "prog metal." However, Symphony X does ok and many SX fans really seem to dig Vanden Plas as well. That would be the target audeience for Vanden Plas. I really hope their management/label helps pull some strings for them.
I think Vanden Plas has become the master of the genre with this release. It is a shame they may never receive the money and accolades they deserve for not just this release, but for an extremely solid career that has spanned eleven years.

I am glad you are digging it. I think this is the best thing that has come out this freaking decade. It is simply mind-blowing in my ears. I have to go read the novel now. ^___^
As far as PPUSA there have been some birds buzzing around in Glenn's ear, I am sure about getting Vanden Plas back to PPUSA again.
