Hello! I've been a fan of Nevermore for about three years now, and have fortunately had the chance to twice witness them in concert.
And, being that UM seems to be the hotbed of metal interaction, thought I'd sign up here.
I've been playing guitar for about 7 years, and have been into the metal underground for about 4. A few of my favorite bands are: (the obvious), Opeth, Savatage, Evergrey, Iced Earth, Symphony X, Mercyful Fate, Artension, ...
I have recently been delving deeper into both "Nevermore" and "Dreaming Neon Black", realizing more and more the unique vision of Warrel and the intricacy of Jeff's playing. The concept of lost love has always touched me, and DNB does so in such a foreboding, anguish-laced fashion...
Also recently d/l'ed a few songs off "In Memory". "Matricide" and "The Sorrowed Man". Definitely enjoy the 'pro-mother earth' intonations of the former.
Well, I'll see you all around...
