GRRR interface issue

So my 26 i/o saffire pro didn't work in Vista. I splashed out on buying a copy of windows XP pro and repartitioned my mac to try and get it running because its like 300 smackers worth of shit that getting no use out of unless it'll run under windows. NOW the bitch says, when I go to install the drivers etc that it cant boot the firmware from my saffire pro - ALSO..i updated the firmware just to make sure.. WTF is going on..focusrite seriously deserving a slap right now for their windows compatibility. The issue I had in vista was bad drivers because sound kept cutting out through my monitors and making high squeals etc. Anyone else have any similar problems?/help me?

I'm in the position where I cant sell my mac without losing enough money to get something in the PC region of same spec.

WINDOZE is where its at for recording, im dying to get using the nick crow plug-ins and DECENT IR loaders like kefir and sir.

Plus i miss command and conquer.
