yep. like literally across from it. i figure it may not be the cheapest place around but if its that close i may not have a problem feeling motivated to go and it will make going in the winter even easier.
the YMCA here is just as expensive as other gyms and kind of shady lizard, have you ever seen apartments in NYC? where the fuck would a person PUT a home gym? never mind, how would i have to kill my roommate and his friends who would stare at me when i was working out?
today is pissing me off.
and i had a virus on my computer thanks to the LITERALLY retarded intern.
i was at this kid's apartment in the Village last weekend. $2700/month, a SINGLE ROOM which was 10' wide and less than 20' long. plus a tiny midget bathroom. no oven, no stove, nothing.
nick from kayo dot had an apartment on commonwealth ave. in boston that was much much smaller than that AND had no private bathroom and was still $700/month. $700/month to live like i was a freshman in college? no fucking way.
there's no way i'd ever live in th east village or probably even manhattan for that reason. i have a 2 bedroom for $1,100. and it's pretty big. screw WHITEVILLE.
yeah but nick lived on the AWESOME part of Commonwealth Ave; not all of Comm. Ave is remotely close to that.
let's also note that Nick was offered a bedroom in my house for $595, and he chose to live in that saltbox rather than with me. so he's obviously insane.
the one thing i miss about MA is the living space. i rented a 4 bedroom condo at umass and it was $900 a month. wtf..... it had a deck and a back yard!
