Guess who's playing ProgPower VI?

You haven't read this yet?

VERY COOL!!! EXCELLENT!!!

No!! I hadn't!!! I've never run into a link for that before. I thought I had been through the whole site. I guess not. Or is that a private part of the site like the RockOn page?

Well, it sounds like you had the time of your life! That sounded like an awesome experience! And to think that only about a week before that they played to over 1000 people @ PP!

Cool!

Sounds like Matt's show he saw was like the gig in Aurora, IL. Shitty weather kept a lot of people away, I think there were at most 20-30 people in the place, tops. Their drummer was kind of having a hissy fit, and Kiko din't look too happy with the turnout, but they are all real nice guys......Kudos to them for not being assholes. :worship:

J-Dubya, oh yeah, Onward really isn't my cup of tea either.........

Yeah, cold weather and rain (and a lack of promo) kept people away in NC. They seemed very into the show though.

Yeah, I hear ya on Onward.

As for Prog Power USA this year, I now know one band it definitely is NOT and who one of the near confirmed bands are. We'll find out soon I think...

Phew. I can finally say I know Angra will be there. :p

I thought you might be relieved with that announcement. I KNOW you've been busting at the seams with that knowledge :Spin: I hope they take the deal behind door #1 though!! You know?

I'm not familiar enough with Conception except for the work Khan did with Kamelot and Otsby did with Ark (which kicked ass), but many people seem to be excited so I'll definitely be checking these guys out.

Exactly. :D

@Andrew - Quite possibly. I'm working on it! I'm trying to get together a short post-PP tour for them. There are lots of factors though, but all parties involved are doing their best to make it happen. I'll keep you posted. ;)

You are freaking awesome
:OMG: :worship: :Spin: :worship: :OMG:
Even if it doesn't work out, props for attempting.

Well, I've been talking about a tour for them for around a year with them - trying to get something when they finally come here at least. Now they are coming. Their management is trying hard, there are just many, many factors. I'll keep you posted.

Paralell Minds & In Your Multitude are THE best 2 cds they've done.
It's going to be a GREAT set, followed by Angra makes it even better!
ooks like Glenn's done a pretty decent job this year. Even if he didn't get Freak Kitchen............. :hotjump:

J-Dubya :puke::cry:

Always puke on the crybabies! lol

Thanks Dude! I'll have to "hint around" and see about checking them out. Yeah, it does appear that Glenn has done fairly well even if Enchant or Zero Hour aren't playing!

Love the signature. That is so you!

J-Dubya - where do you live? Angra may be doing some other shows, and we'll need some people willing to help promote.

As JayDub's agent, I'll field that question :Spin:

He lives in Wisconsin about 1.5 hours from Chicago and 45 minutes from Milwaukee.

P.S. I've got most of Celtic down.

Yep, that's about it. If they hit Chicago again, keep them away (if possible) from the place they played before (The Rockhouse (I think...) in Aurora....
They didn't seem real happy there........

We're trying for the House of Blues there. Since you're so close, maybe you can help promote the show (once confirmed). :D

I'd be happy to do what I can to promote it from up in Cheeseland. :Spin:
