Guilty Pleasures

METALLICA ST. ANGER! There, I said it. I FREAKING LOVE ST ANGER!!!!!!!!!!!! I even asked for another copy for Christmas because the first disc got all scratched up in the car cd player! Guilty? As all hell!
Ted

Now that I got that off my chest...here are a few more of my favorite guilty pleasures:

Eminem
Eazy E
TOTO
Ruben Studdard (hell yeah!)
Saved By The Bell reruns
Christina Aguilera

what have I done? Am I even allowed on this board anymore?

hmm....... guns(like the redneck kind, not some gangster 'ima poser i like glock n berretta yo yo holla' garbage), fishing, farming turkeys specifically, school, ugh.....visors like the little i reckon half-hats you would call them im really starting to love visors, 90s slayer cause everyone else hates it, techno, bud light more so than budweiser.....yeah i cant explain that, i cant think of anytihng else, but yeah laugh it up.

Jessica Simpson! Hell Yeah! She's the one from the pack that can sing & looks good doin' it. I don't know if she writes her own stuff. She's the one that I feel has "talent" out of the bunch. I like Geto Boys, they were like the Slayer of rap. Ice-T is pretty cool. I plan on picking up some discs by the rap artists mentioned. They just aren't a priority. Metal first.

TVF, Saved by the fucking bell?! I used to watch that show back in the day. Made me feel "Broadway Show" how about you?!

War Documenatries & all those god damn home improvement shows on TLC!

Hey Warrant isn't a guilty pleasure, nothing wrong with liking them! If they were a guilty pleasure then my entire list of favourite bands would be as well hahaha!

My main guilty pleasure is '80s pop! I like quite a bit of it, especially Bananarama hahaha! Hmmm what else... oh yeah Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and various other cheesy '70s disco coz its funny and entertaining (and catchy haha!)

I don't know if this categorize in your definition but...

Star Trek "Enterprise" (and most Star Trek stuff)
Progressive rock (not metal)
Porn
Computer games
Horror movies

I'm a horror movie freak myself. I have about 100 or so on video haha, love 'em! Always on the hunt for cheap ex-rentals!

And nothing wrong with a bit of porn

Bon Jovi are so not a guilty pleasure. Only one of the best arena rock bands of ALL TIME. :)

There are very few bands with as many truly great songs as Bon Jovi!

Hahaha... add me to that list! I hated that stuff back in the 80's, but some how it made it's way into my brain and about 3 years ago started making requests....... "man, I'd like to hear "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow" ...... What!!! Who said that?!! :)

My newest guilty pleasure is Alicia Keys.

I've got all of you beaten...

Right now I'm listening to "Miles Away" by Winger...

I think the only thing that could top that would be something like Siegfried and Roy.

Step aside, folks! Here comes a new challenger...(drum roll): ME!
Not only do I also like Miles Away. I'm even owner of the complete Winger discography (the band's, not Kip's). Period. Yes people, you may believe it and no, there's nothing wrong with your eyes. So this should make me catch up with you,thrashmetal78. And to establish a new challenge for all of you here's a nice little piece from my collection: Discipline by Desmond Child. Okay, I have to admit that I don't like the whole album, just a few tracks. According To The Gospel Of Love, The Price Of Loving You and the title track stand out the most, I think. But I own it and appreciate at least half of it, so I guess this does count, right?

Ok, it looks like the gloves are off and we're not pulling any punches. So at this time I have one word for you..... Trixter. Thaaaaat's right. I like their first album, just good fun rock.

It kinda looks like most of us consider hair metal to be a guilty pleasure. :)

I don't really have 'guilty' pleasures - I've spent enough time explaining to 'normal' people why I like metal and punk that I just don't give a fuck anymore what anyone thinks of my tastes. In theory. In reality, here's some of what I'm sometimes embarassed to admit that I enjoy: Blondie (everything they did, even the disco stuff), Motown girl pop (the bridge before the last chorus in the Chiffons' 'One Fine Day' is one of the best moments in music, ever), numerous Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera songs, quite a bit of rap/hiphop/whatever, the Steve Miller Band, Melody Club (Swedish synth-pop band), and Tapani Kansa, which you probably won't understand if you're not Finnish or haven't spent much time there. Oh, and Iron Maiden's 'Virtual XI'.
