Guilty Pleasures

bryant-you are right about whitneys voice-the power and the precision are incredible-not that i've heard too much of her stuff you understand(cough cough),but for me,particularly with soul music, its the tone as well as the tuning.thats why arethra and otis are soul gods.btw, not sure how whitneys voice is now that her and "charlie"are apparently best mates.punishment for marrying bobby brown, the wanker.
Hmmm.... who is Charlie ? I really know nothing about Whitney and her personal life (less I did know she was married to Bobby Brown.) I really don't even know much of her music less what I have heard flipping TV or radio channels. I'm simply not a fan, but I would bow to her as a technician.
To me, she is to female vocalists what Lawrence Taylor was to linebackers or Yngwie was/is to guitar. You don't have to like them, but you should respect what they did for their caft. They simply don't get better than that.

Well, as far as stuff that'd get me ragged on _here_, Dimmu Borgir (new stuff included) and Cradle of Filth are definitely on the list, Irish and American folk music (love me some Pete Seeger), Aretha Franklin and other Motown stuff, and I love underground hip-hop, but that's nothing to be guilty about - it's not all 50 cent and Ludacris, folks. Role playing games, definitely role playing games.

I watched some Japanese chick flicks damn it. I keep on telling myself that it's stupid shit but some of the girls in it are hot so...

"sorry bryant-"charlie" is cocaine, guess it must be a slang british term.what do you boys over in the states call it?"

I had a run in with "charlie" About a week ago damn near got hooked lol I guess that would count as a guilty pleasure ..... ofcourse I came to my senses imediately and stopped  No drug can hook me I'm Superguy :loco: anyway I'v always refered to it as cocaine but I have heard it called blow or nose kandy lol

O.K. guilty pleasures Does Phantom of the Opera on c.d. count? or does that just make me a sad loser? And reading books about vampires and dragons written by people that actually believe in them rather than just fairy stories. In the middle of reading one about vampires that actually tells you the equipment you need as a slayer (some of which has been covered by Buffy but not all) and how to stop yourself from being turned into one of the undead
(I'm beginning to think I missed my calling as a slayer  .) Oh and if hair metal and porn class as guilty pleasures then count them in as well
