Guitar Test Recording... (Real Drums,ENGL Invader 150 ) ...

Hey guy,
i need a quick advice. Today i did a test recording, tomorrow we'll do the guitar tracks. No edit yet !!!
AMP: ENGL Invader (4 th Channel)
CAB: ENGL XXL
GIT: YAMAHA (???)

Mic 1 : Audix i5
Mic 2 : Audix D2

I recorded samples (Snare,Kick,Toms,China, Ride,Crash)
Anyone interested ??? Clean / Room?

I would avoid the second mic. There is definitely some odd phasing going on in here. Try just the i5 first and repost.

Like lolzgreg said the guitars sound a bit thin, maybe due to phase problems. I like the drums a lot though, and that's some pretty fast blasting there in the beginning. I'd be interested in samples if you want to upload.

better, definitely. two mics is a time consuming headache. and yes those drums sound sick, are the drums edited?? if not, that dude is beastly
