Guitar tone competition 3 round 3

This round will get 7 days because I am uploading two rounds at once.

When voting, please keep in mind this is about the guitar tone. Some have louder guitars than others. No extreme differences though. Some files were submitted with master bus changes. These were disqualified. Some files were submitted with a much louder backing track. These too were disqualified. All the uploaded files here have been checked, but it may be that we missed a mistake. If you hear that someone didn't follow the rules let Anssi and myself know.

All uploaded files are 320kbps mp3s. Note that this round starts with 3B due to previous disqualification.

To me, in this round 3G takes it from 3C by a very small margin, sounding fuller and having a less quiet lead.

Going to go with 3F in this one narrowly from 3G to much highs in G for me

3G had too much high end. 3F had a wierd fizz. For me 4A was smoothest and clean.

For me 4A is by far the best out of these.


It seems some of the submissions are messed up because of the panning or routing to a stereo amp sim - they end up having a centered guitar,

No, it wasn't.

I voted 3F, but I don't quite like it, it sounds like the least worst to me, haha

don't like this round at all, but 3g sounds best to me.

3G has to much high end. 4A the guitars sound compact, I like it. But i like 3D most because the guitars arent "bassy" and the mids are defined. The guitars have more presence in the whole sound, i like guitars sounding this way.

For me it was a race between 3C, 3G and 4A. In the end I found 3G was a little bit unfocused and mixed too loud; 4A sounds quite good as well but maybe sometimes a little bit boxy; 3C Center guitars are way too low in volume but in general I really like the sound. In my opinion the best so far in the competition.
Voted for 3C.

I liked 3B and 3G. Ended up voting on the first one.

this un i prefer 4A, sounds well balanced thoughout and the tone doesn't immediately stand out as having anything i dislike in the overall frequencies

4A for me. I find it funny though how just about everyone is saying they dont like any of the sounds that much.

4A as well, but it's a bit more muffled than I would like - however, 3C is way too thin and fizzy IMO, and while I like 3G, it's just a bit too rumbly
