This round will get 7 days because I am uploading two rounds at once.

When voting, please keep in mind this is about the guitar tone. Some have louder guitars than others. No extreme differences though. Some files were submitted with master bus changes. These were disqualified. Some files were submitted with a much louder backing track. These too were disqualified. All the uploaded files here have been checked, but it may be that we missed a mistake. If you hear that someone didn't follow the rules let Anssi and myself know.

Without further delay, here are the 7 contestants for round eight.

If you recognise your own work, please keep it to yourself. Usernames will be made public in the end. Please place your vote, and post in the thread with your reasoning!

All uploaded files are 320kbps mp3s. Note that this round starts with 8C due to previous disqualification. There is also no 9B due to disqualification.

8E for me. I found it most balanced, the rest are either boomy, boxy, cloudy and most of them are too damn loud to be a mix.

Immature, I know :D

I think I won't vote for this round. I liked no tone from it. 9C wasn't that bad but was way too loud anyway.

Vote count seems to be dropping after every round, may I say much too participants? I think this makes it kind of repetitive and it gets boring to vote. Perhaps next time there should be a limited amount for the people participating?

IMO 8E sounds pretty thin...I wonder why all guitar tones so far just doesnt sound good. Maybe the problem is in the riffs or in the guitar...

^ or it seems thin because the rest of the tracks are really loud? I get you though, I was expecting to like a lot more tones, so far it's been between 0 and 2 tones per round.

8e moves on to the next round, congrats to him/her!
