First of all i just want say that I hate slipknot as I hate the pope! I hate these hardcore bands that thinks they are a great metal bands!! They are false!!Fuck hardcore and nu metal bands!! they have to learn with the true metal bands that are in europe the most of them, and people from hardcore bands that think their music is a kind of Death Metal, shut a fuck up: listen and see what is made in sweden, the land of the better Death Metal bands (Amon Amarth, Vomitory....)The "Fuck the world" it's from joey demaio and i think it is a good way to express what i feel about society!!!

The funny thing I have noticed about people from the south ... and I mean deep south born and raised .. is their lack of informations about the outisde world let alone outside FL. It truly is like you said a legacy. It got me thinking earlier last week while my brother and I were driving on US 19 going to Ocala driving thru small towns how people probably could care less about what was going on in the rest of the world (at least that's what I got from seeing the towns and folks) and yet this same country is dictating what is right or wrong abroad. Quite a paradox!

tis a sad state of affairs indeed. You wouldnt believe how many times someone here is considered "a friggin' genious!" just because they gave a damn and opened a book. On another note, i have a couple friends who are exchange students (one japanese, one polish and one uzbeckistanian) and everytime they do really well on tests, everyone justs shrugs it off as "well, they're supposed to be smart" Nobody tries to better themselves here....its really sad, I say.

yeah well its not really a question of appearance, but what u are. Varg says that he's shoked when he sees a non-germanic using viking signs like wearing a thor's hammer necklace, because its as ridiculous as a black guy wearing a viking helmet. briefly, viking stuff should only be used by germanics, no other, and thats actually normal when u think about it. its true that a black haired italian band like Stormlord whose members where viking necklaces seems a little weird lol
well i'm blue eyed and fair haired and 50% germanic so i can permit myself to wear that stuff and hail asatru hehe

Chances are then that youre more than 50% germanic because your french parent may be of frankish decent. It is a question of appearance, for it often shows of what heritage you are and it obviously makes no sense for negro or slav for that matter (Graveland anyone?) to worship germanic gods. You guys dissapoint me. You know there are other things that Manowar talked about. They talked about the Greek war, the native americans ("let the white man die!") , the Vietnam war. They embraced a lot of other cultures as well as the viking one. They are an epic band that talked about ALL ancient history.

by the way everyone says hitler took the svastika from this buddist thing or indu thing or whatever, but recently i was reading this book on viking mythology and there's a drawing of thor and a svastika next to him and the book says "svastika, the symbol of thor" or something..
so shouldnt it be more logical that hitler took the svastika from germanic mythology? the question is then why does everyone say that he copied it from an indu symbol?
