Hail to the Thief: best radiohead album...ever?

amnesiac and pablo honey are the two i don't own and therefore have only heard a few times each, so amnesiac could very well be better than HTTT.

it's taken me, like, a month to struggle with myself that it's okay to say that HTTT might be better than OK.

Ok Computer is the best, in my opinion. But, I must admit, I have not trudged through Hail to the Thief as of yet, but I have heard most of it and it is quite good. I just need to devote more time to it than I'm willing to give right now.

On "thief", the melodies became somehow more involved(?), they don't wrap up in comfortable shapes and always seem to escape me... And the textures aren't as instant as on the two previous albums... that's my impression so far.

I'm heartened by the defence of OK Computer on this thread, because it's a fantastic album (and so is Kid A). But I think some years into the future, when HTTT has had a chance to settle into the collective consciousness of the music world and is no longer "the new Radiohead", there's a good chance it'll be remembered as one of Radiohead's best if not THE best.
