sometimes my glasses just need to make an unscheduled appearance like that
(please note: this "costume" was thrown together with items already in my closets...and only 2 hours before i left for the party...huzzah!)

The best costume that I saw this year (actually saw pictures of, since I was in Hawaii on Halloween) was a 12 ft tall Transformer.
