Has anyone gotten this to work?

A profire 2626 on windows on boot camp? I got the computer to recognize it now after i used someone's fix to get that working, but Pro Tools still doesn't work! It says it doesn't recognize my M-Audio hardware. But it's definitely connected to the computer correctly because the control panel comes up just fine and says it's connected. Does anyone know how to fix this? :\

i dont see why it wouldn't work. take your mac as a standard computer with a firewire port or whatever. the x86 code should recognize everything and run it fine - have you mailed m-audio?

i've already done this! it got the computer to recognize the profire, but for some reason it still will not work with pro tools. but it would with reaper. I really want this shit fixed! i called m-audio, and they don't support the boot camp setup or some bullshit so they are no help! D:

I don't get why you would use PT on a mac in Bootcamp. It is NOT going to work as well as on OSX.
Give me a good reason that doesn't involve cracked plugs to do this.

well for one all these amp sims and free plugins i like, aren't made for mac. another thing is im just more used to windows so i would like to have it. its not about cracked plugs, i just want windows damnit! if anyone can figure this out, i will be in debt to you!
