Has anyone used the Blue Encore 200?

Hey guys,

I'm buying some equipment for my studio and I want a good dynamic vocal mic for the growlers/screamers.

My total budget is $1,000 and this is what I'm getting:

Blue Encore 200 Phantom Powered Dynamic Mic
Engl E-530 Tube Guitar Preamp
PreSonus Studio Channel Tube Channel Strip

So my question is... has anyone used the Blue Encore 200? Also, is the PreSonus channel strip decent? I've been using the preamps on the M-Audio ProFire 2626 and they're alright but I need something better.

Never tried them have had great results with a 57 and a Sennheiser e835 for growling vox on a budget. I would personally just save up and get the SM7B

I've had 'okay' results with an SM58 but I want something with more clarity and the reviews for the Encore 200 are great. I just wanted to know if anyone here has used it for extreme vocals.

I'm also considering the dbx 286A channel strip and the GAP Pre 73, has anyone any experience with those units?
