Where'd you put the Suffocation album at while you were waiting on him after it was signed?
I don't really understand this question. Do you mean where did I put it after I got home?

Could someone please tell me what's so special about having someone draw on ones albums/covers?
Suffocation are my favorite band and I look up to them. It was just awesome to say a few words to them and having a lasting memento of the concert. It may sound stupid but its how I feel.

(a bunch of brutal death shit,
Which ones? I may like them

No, at the concert.

On of suffocations ex-bassists does the sound at various local gigs around here.

I used to work as stagehand way back(late 80's ealy 90's) when, did some touring and knew lots of folks in the industry...so I've met all kinds of bands/people - Metallica(except Cliff), Slayer(Dave & Tom), Lemmy, Dave Mustaine, Rob Halford, Ozzy, Skid Row, Ted Nugent, Carnivore/Type-O, Kreator, Anthrax, Overkill, Obituary,...and many more, plus tons of non-metal folks. Hell I even met Florence Henderson - Mrs. Brady herself!

All in all, it's really not nearly as cool as some might believe - its all generally somewhat awkward and anti-climactic. There are exceptions of course.

I've met the guys from Morbid Angel, Nile, Kreator, Trym from Emperor, and a few others that I can't remember.

I got the chance to sit and talk with Timmo Kotipelto after the live concert they performed in greece, he is a very nice guy actually.
i talked with Mikael Akerfeldt and he signed my picks :P
i took a picture with Steve Vai and after that he bailed as if he was chased by wereworlfs.
Chuck Shuldiner in a live concert in greece 6 or 7 years ago. R.I.P. :( At first I thought he was gay but he was the best guy with the cleanest soul and a great character. It is known that the pussy god strikes down the good people (if he exists , which he doesnt).
Thats all, I'm planning on talking to Fabio leone when rhapsody visit greece in 3 months.

Suffocation walked by me in a crowd, and a couple of them brushed against me. This just before I watched my friend get his album signed.

One time I saw suffocation with some other bands and was near the merch table. One of the guitarists did not have a beer opener and cracked his beer right off the side of the table and and did not catch it and lost half his beer ha.

No, at the concert.
I actually purchased another copy and got it signed, then left. I gave my old copy to Zephyrus because he fronted me the money to get the other copy of the CD.

I know Blake and the guys currently in Nachtmystium. I hung out with the band while they recorded their half of the upcoming split with Leviathan.
That's awesome. I am big fan of these guys and I have only heard their newest record. How does the split material compare?

It's going to be good. Have you heard the Twilight album? One of the songs is somewhat similiar to the last song on that album in that it has a nice buildup. There's a cover of the Death in June song - Rose Clouds of Holocaust. The other song is pretty good too. The split should be out in March/April.

I once sang "Deadly sinners" with 3 inches of blood. It was an Exodus gig at a small bar so there were not many people, but my friends and I were very energetic the whole show so all the bands really liked us and gave us some special treatment. Whenever the chorus for Deadly sinners would come around Jamie Hooper would give us his mic. It was really fun. He gave me hug, thanked me for singing along and fetched me a water bottle because I was quite parched.

Talked with the vocalist from Watch them Die a bit before and after the gig as well that night. He gave me some free stickers for being cooler than everyone else. The band is not that great but they put on a hell of a show, even with only a few people in the crowd.

I also met Oderus Urungus and BalSac, the Jaws Of Death from GWAR. I had them sign my shorts (all I had that was sign able!). Because of this Oderus called me a faggot and claimed I did it so that he could touch my little prick.
