dudes, I was watching head bangers ball, and although they play some cool vids. The little m2 symbol in the top right corner of the screen, shows the fucking poser horns, it says "love" not "fucking metal". Not only that, I'm sick of these flash in the pan bands with minotonis power chords and no solos.

I'm always surprised at the Headbangers Ball bashing. The majority of the show is quality metal vids, with a few more mainstream ones thrown in of course. I am fucking loathe to support MTV, but to me its about supporting good underground metal.

Last night they played videos by Kataklysm, Fear Factory, Satyricon, Stompin Ground, Deicide, and a few other good ones that I can't remember off the top of my head (hazy night). Sure there are a few songs that some people won't dig, like Killswitch Engage or In Flames (I like both), still its not like they are playing linkin park or something. Its worth it to check out vids by Nile, Morbid Angel, Cattle Decapitation, Mastodon, SYL, and all the other quality music.

The guests in the studio is somewhat entertaining too. Fear Factory and Satyricon this past week. Was interesting to hear Burt talk about post-Dino FF, to me at least.

I didn't see any video for March of the Fire Ants. I did hear them playing it in the background at one point, though.
