I just started a new job where I'm lucky enough to listen to music at my desk. I want to buy some dope headphones, preferably not obnoxiously oversized. Any recommendations?
sorry, bad assumption. the PX-100's and 200's are quite different... it's already been covered in this thread that the 200's suck and the 100's are the way to go.cobhc said:well my px-200's can't handle high volume before farting out, dont know if the 100's are the same, but i assume they might be cos i think they have the same drivers in them
that's what we've been saying here... it was the whole point of the thread even.TheStoryteller said:I've been looking for a pair of reasonably cheap headphones, to be used for both listening to music home & at work, and also as a complement to my monitors when mixing. Maybe those PX-100 would be a good solution for me as well?
James Murphy said:anyway, quick question exactly how loud are you talking? you should never crank headphones very loud.... that's one of the quickest shortcuts to ear damage/hearing loss i can think of. believe me, the 100's get more than loud enough without distorting.... if they are "farting out" on your mixes, then you have waaaay to much low end going on.
