They almost exchanged blows. If I were a betting man, I'd say Mike would have handled him quite easily, though who knows what sort of VD he would have contracted in the bloody melee?

To sum it, Poodlehead refused to leave the room without Mike giving him a hearty handshake.

Though he was more of an oddity that provided a brief blimp of entertaining, than he was harmful.

Oh that's right. Weren't they the band at HC 2 who insisted that David Gold wasn't the brains behind WoY and that he basically hired in random people to write the music and then magically fire them when they were no longer needed?

If we sponsor someone, we should donate towards getting a band that would otherwise have little-to-no possibility of playing.

Both Agalloch and WoY are slam dunks IMO so they're covered already.

It would be great to have an RC band play, simply because it feels a little rewarding to support some of you guys directly.

Otherwise, what about DESTROYER 666? They would take a headlining (or #2) slot and bring serious rain & thunder. I suspect they would need $$ support simply because of the cost of flying in from Australia. And at least we know (a) they've already played the USA and (b) no problems with visas.

Sounds expensive. Needs more U.S bands ala Wolves thrown in. (Some more cowbell would'nt hurt either) That band Jason Jordinson reco'd yesterday would fit in quite nicely.

You'd be flying two of them from England, one from Holland and one from Germany. None of those guys live in Aus anymore. Gathering them all for the event could be the difficult part.
