Has anyone ever chosen to use (when available) a Heil PR40 over an SM7b of metal vocalists? Just curious since I know that the SM7b is like the main go-to mic for screamers. Just wondering if anyone here has chosen that mic over the other? Most Studios have a vast array of condensers for various singers, why not have a couple different dynamic character mics for screamers?
