seriously. how hard is it to make a poll?
hellhammer is better. probably the most diverse drummer in metal
~gR~
Krig, I find it very hard to beleive you have never heard an album or a song with HellHammer on drums. He has played for like 45,000 bands.
kollias is superior, both in technicality and groove.
Hellhammer (Jan Axel Blomberg) - Drums (198(ex-Antestor, Arcturus (Nor), Carnivora, ex-Covenant (Nor), ex-Jørn, Dimmu Borgir, Mezzerschmitt, ex-Mortem (Nor), ex-Shining (Swe), ex-The Kovenant, Thorns, Troll, ex-Vidsyn, Winds (Nor), Tritonus, Age of Silence)
nope, none of those. meh. whatever

You've never heard De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas? And if you saw Dimmu live then you HAVE heard Hellhammer.
never heard it![]()
when did he join Dimmu? Its been a couple years since I saw them
never heard hellhammer, so... Kollias

Hellhammer for the win.I have to go with Hellhammer. After seeing him live (with my jaw on the ground the whole time), I have to say that he's one of the most amazing drummers I've seen.
How about the drummer from Lykathea Aflame vs. Hellhammer?

But apart from that, I still think Hellhammer is superior to Kollias in style and ability to drum the correct things in the correct places.Yes I highly recommend DMDS... an excellent BM album, despite Attila's bad vocals.
That is just a bit unfair - I can't think of any metal drummer that is as good as Corn.
