If I had to pick a favorite ever, it might actually be Hessian Peel. It is their most epic masterfully composed song.

I'm Nate and my favorite bands (in order) are Tool > Opeth > Porcupine Tree > Deathspell Omega > Pink Floyd, and I love pretty much every album by Opeth except Watershed which I loved but got bored of. To me, currently: Ghost Reveries > Deliverance > Blackwater Park > Damnation > Orchid > Still Life > My Arms Your Hearse > Morningrise > Watershed, but I listen to any of them just depending on what I'm in the mood for, so here's top two off each like others are doing.

Derelict Herds (I got bored of the album entirely and got the special edition much later so that's the only reason this is above HA/HP/Burden)

What I really love about Opeth is that their discography is really made up entirely of two different "bands" (A metal band with some power ballads for the most part but they have enough music devoid of distorted guitars and growling to fill up a couple of albums, and its an entirely different sound obviously), and I can always be in the mood to listen to one of them.

x420xFlyinHigh here I would have to say that Blackwater Park is my fav. album but followed very closely by all the others. Favorite song is a tie between ... Drapery Falls, Reverie/Harlequin Forest, Ghost of Perdition and of course...BlackWater Park!! Enjoy the show! PEACE
