I still really enjoy Omnium Gatherum's first album, other than that I stick with the classics by At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, Eucharist, In Flames, etc. This genre peaked at the beginning, much like nu-metal.

haha, well yeah, so I listened to that Searing Meadow and I turned it off after about 4 songs.

The problem with MDM is that after a while, every song starts to sound the same simply because the vocals are so monotonous. Also, when I think about it, I don't think I've ever listened to a MDM album from start to finish, even the ones I like.
