I have a Peterson StroboStomp, and I absolutely love it. Not only does it tune incredibly accurately (makes setups/intonation that much sweeter!), it actually trained my ear, pitch wise. I can hear pitch more accurately, and more importantly, tell when things are out of tune a hell of a lot easier than I could before I got it!

+1 and 101% Agreed. When I got mine, it changed my life. You tune the guitars with that and then tune to bass to the guitars and it sounds huge.

No, but it'll make what they play more in tune, which will make the overall product sound more clean and polished.

I like the idea of a software tuner, and Peterson even has a version of theirs done up, but I like having the hardware unit when I need it, and having to leave your screen open for the guitarist to sit there and tune isn't very productive!

Lately live I've been using Reatune, used it a session too when the guitarists tuner died on him. Quick, accurate and easy

yeah tuning is really important to me. its definatley worth the cost of this in my opinion...

sometimes its just hard to convince my self to buy new gear when what i've got already works

gotta move forward sometime!
