help me pick a guitarsound

yo...just working with this cool band...
atm I'm searching for a RH guit-sound....the goal is to have it really thick and saturated (think Devil Driveer tlkw, KSE end of..., Chimaira Resurrection etc).

not trying to copy the sounds (as they're obviously different from each other), but just so you know what I'm shooting for and don't have to yell: "too much distortion"

these two examples wouldn't be the final tone anyway, cause I haven't blended the mics yet (using sm57+md421), but they're kinda ballpark-ish...
which one do you like better?

one is the Bogner+Rackto, the other one 5150+rackto...but that shouldn't influence your decision (so no "I'd go with the 5150 cause that's what's been used on the DD" or so ....choose with your ears please)...
I set the bogner a bit more scooped with bigger lows than the 5150...digging both...could of course try the bogner with some more mids also

Both sounds great! Even by comparing the palm mutes, I come to the result, that I dig both the same.

Damn, already voted for 5150! Bogner with more mids sounds way better now and makes 5150 sound abit dark in comparison.

Would like to hear both in a mix though

both are very similar Lasse, im slightly prefering the depth of the 5150 though, however gnna depend when its sitting in the mix!

I prefer B - it's cleaner and less grainy in the top end, ends up sounding smoother.

and that's not even 70% of the sound it'll be in the mixes ....sound even much better with the mic levels balanced etc!

Clip A Bogner-Rackto, has some very very nice mids in them but is a tiny bit too agressive in the highs for a smooth sound in my opinion. I think Clip B in comparison to A sounds a little (very very little) scooped, i also believe to hear that the palm mutes on the Bogner sounds tighter than on the 5150. Both clips sound great nonetheless!
