Help needed - ripping software?

Well dvd quality is perfect quality, by good quality I would expect people to understand it's not at that level. It's more at a vhs level. Which is fine if you are just burning it for a mate to watch on his pc.

I don't rip things at that low quality for my own viewing.

So you can fit a movie on a single disc at about VHS quality?
That's pretty good, and not something I've seen before. Most of the non-DVD copied movies that I've seen have been really poor quality, and usually spread over two discs.

I user Smart ripper, Rad and DVDtoogh. I actually have a div-x of O Brother where art thou that is just under dvd quality wighing in at 646mb.
