Hard to say. Who recommended what, and when they recommended it, in relationship to if and when I got into it, is hard to trace back. Honestly, I'm not sure who recommended any of the following RC bands (these are the last 10 RC recos I've purchased)...Seriously, name one band that you discovered via a recommendation of mine that you regularly listen to, or that excited you to the point where the band could be regularly listened to in the future.

OK. For starters, everyone knows you don't reco Black Metal until mid-September... at the earliest. It's the Metal equivalent of not wearing white after labor day.Darkestrah - I reco'd it awhile back in July...
Actually, it was Tranquillian's February thread that turned me on to them.I haven't seen you mention anything about them until Ali started spotlighting them recently and you also weren't aware they had any releases other than Epos.

GZ said:Overall, it looks like you have some work to do. You need to spend more time listening to what I like and less time listening to what you like. This way, when you hear something new, you'll know right away if we'll (and I really mean "if I'll") like it.
I believe Darkestrah was my reco from the beginning, even though I might have picked them up from Erik from the beginning. Someone else will now do a search and prove me wrong...
Edit: It was actually HenrikMain's reco from early 2005.

Mdlosci and Presence are so completely kicking my ass.
Agreed. Just got theMdlosci is my fave.
Crushing The Holy Trinity is pretty meh, and reminds me waay to much of Darkthrone and Mayhem, but from then on this band improves dramatically. I'm very excited to hear their full length!
