help with Superior toms

Hey guys,
So I have a kit I really like, but I am trying to figure out how to get more of that thick heavy metal *doom* sound out of the toms (kind of like arch enemy). Right now I can hear the stick hitting the head, which is great....because it feels like I am actually there playing it in front of me...but I want a more album quality sound and not so realistic and raw sounding. Any tips to steer me in the right direction?

Play around with the DW toms on the Metal Foundry kit ;-)
