help with tone

any one have / know how t achieve this type of tone on the pod farm and/or possible IR. recording a band this week who specifically asked for this tone





any help would be awesome

Thats a very broad question man. I would try the standard Joey setup.

Noisegate->Cali Diamond Plate-> Cab with condensor mic 40% or less room--> Compressor

A pretty drastic LPF might help you get that cloudy power. Good luck

yea that is pretty much the setup i am using, idk maybe i need a better bass plugin/eq, i got it pretty decently matched to that tone, just these dumb kids want it so bassy/powerful sounding.
