How can I get a better recording quality?

1) Pod Studio UX2 + Countryman Type 85

2) Pod Xt Pro (balanced analog outs) + M-Audio Interfase (FireWire Solo).

Both with Metal Shop (Pod Farm)

Pod X3 live - Xlr outs - metal shop - and just bypass the cab and use Impulses!!!

I use the first option as my current setup. And also have a XT Pro.
