here is the new VAN HALEN single

I like it. For all the accusations of cheesyness, I've always been a fan of David Lee Roth as a front man. He's a mix of swagger and vaudeville, and frankly he's a pretty good singer. The last Van Halen thing that I really liked was Diver Down (Fair Warning being the high point in my mind), but I'll be buying this new album. Roth is a pretty clever lyricist (but gets NO credit for that), and while I didn't really expect much from this, I now have hope that it will be a good straight up rock record.

Here's the video:

Better than Motley Crue's "New Tattoo" at least...
I am planing to pick up some tix for their new tour.

I like "Tatoo"...groovy meat and potatoes VH! DLR, while writing this, must have had visions of hot tatoos while sitting in the stripclub lol. I think the much better tracks are yet to come on this cd (tbr early feb). It was nice today to have that old exciting feeling again of anticipating a new release from the mighty VH!

Here is another upcoming new track re-worked from an old mix called "She's The Woman". From last weeks special private appearance in a small New York club. Not the best quality however...but a taste atleast.

TATTOO is also a mix of old unreleased tunes. its some of the music from DOWN IN FLAMES and some of the lyrics are from a DLR solo demo. a tune BULLETHEAD isalso on the new album which is an old unreleased demo as well

Years and years of Eddie saying he has tons of bits and pieces of cool music laying around...now finally surfacing lol!

Sorry for the dbl post...but thought I'd put up some dude playing the "Bullethead" riffs (thanks mdmatt4ever) with recent EVH gear. Gives a fresher sound and I'm thinking this track is going to be killer!
