I flipped it just to do it.... wow, Mike's growls sound genuinely terrifying. But yeah, the song really kind of works backwards too. Also, the second backwards part (before "Lock the children away from harm") goes something like the second line of the following verse. Like, "they're no longer your reason why" or something.

EDIT: Just finished. Playing the song backwards... it's like, 10x better than anything you usually hear on the radio. Try it.
EDIT2: Coil backward sounds like an elvish chant. I think I'm going to listen to the whole thing backwards now...
